Patagonia

Born from a love of nature and mountaineering, Patagonia has, since 1973 been at the forefront of technical clothing innovation. The clothes are well styled, functional and durable. Although still offering mountaineering wear, Patagonia has developed it's Alpine line for skiiers and boarders. Their technical shells and Regulator fleeces are some of the best there are.

Patagonia's committment to environmental concerns started in 1993 when they developed a fleece made from recycled plastic bottles. In 2005 they launched the Common Threads Garment Recycling Program. Customers can now return their worn out Capilene® Baselayers, Patagonia fleece, Polartec® fleece from other manufacturers and Patagonia organic cotton T-shirts for recycling. On top of this Patagonia pledges 1% pledging at least 1% of their sales (or 10% pre-tax profits, whichever is greater) to the protection and restoration of the natural environment.
